SHELBO'S ADVENTURES IN TECHNOLOGY
October 16, 2024
Michelle L. Dean is extremely proud and excited to share that her second book, "Shelbo's Adventures in Technology: A Trip to the Dentist," has won the International Impact Book Award in the category of Children's Education. This book was inspired by a new educational learning movement called STR2EAM, which stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. This is the second book in the Shelbo's Adventures series.

Walking the red carpet for the first time is an experience that Michelle L. Dean will never forget. It was incredible to meet wonderful authors who had won awards in nearly every category imaginable. Watching other authors receive their awards was awe-inspiring. To be counted as a winner among these authors was a bucket list item Michelle never knew she had.

She hopes to share this feeling with her students each year as they walk the red carpet after publishing their own classroom story with the help of their peers.

Children are more likely to reach their dreams if we as adults share the world of possibilities with them.
